It's what i want...

I’m never sure where to set my rates. It seems to be a delicate balance you need to strike. You want to keep them low enough to get a lot of calls and build some relationships but you want to make a decent price per minute to0. I’ve been trying to figure out how to game the rates system, I’m still working on that. Once you start getting calls on certain ads and good feedback your ads start to get “ranked” the service i use #niteflirt has some unknown algorithm to figure out how high in the listing you go. Its based on some combination of length of calls, repeat callers, feedback left and call price. So my more popular ads are ranked well, so i started to inch up the call rate on those ads.

Talk is cheap, but not that cheap

An online Mistress I’m friendly with also suggested i was selling myself short. That because i was “real” I.E. not using some fake pictures of a model but my real photos etc, that i could get more per minute. I think shes right, but right now I’m still new enough to not wanna blow my wad on being too expensive too soon. Again, I’m building relationships, and i suppose paying my dues. Which I’m happy to do as i figure out how this whole phone bone world operates

My ads that are not ranked are cheaper and they savvy caller knows this and calls my cheaper line regardless of the ads slant and tries to get whatever his fantasy is for the lowest price. I can respect that, so usually i play along and give him whatever it is he wants even if i usually get a few pennies more for that fetish. I’m a bargain hunter too…i get it.

So until i figure out this delicate rate balance i will continue to play with the rates until i find my happy medium between what i can get and what they will pay.  When i add cam-whoring to my arsenal in a couple weeks i will probably have to rethink the whole thing all over again.
